I began cycling with my family at the age of six, racing for the first time four years later in a round of the British National Youth Series.

Along with my sister Alice, I joined my first team, Team Keyne, in Milton Keynes. At 13 I was selected for the Talent Team, the British Cycling development programme for 14-16 year olds.

I grew up with a varied racing calendar, including Road, Track, Cyclo-Cross and Mountain Biking, with my earliest international successes winning the Dutch 'Assen Junior Tour' in 2010 and 2011. During this time, I was a member of the British Cycling Olympic Development Programme, as well as racing domestically for CandiTV Marshalls-Pasta.

In 2010 I won the Elite British Circuit Race Championships, alongside back-to-back wins at the London Nocturne in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

After some success as a Junior, I moved to Holland in 2012 where I joined Team Ibis, my first UCI women's team, where I again won the Elite British Circuit Race Championships.

In 2013, after yet another Nocturne win, I was spotted by the American outfit, UnitedHealthcare Women's team, where I eventually signed for their inaugural season.

I enjoyed over 15 victories with the American squad in the two years I raced for the 'Blue Train'. Taking my most prestigious win at the final stage of the 2015 Women's Tour (of Britain).

My tenure with UHC ended prematurely mid-season in 2015 when I broke my ankle racing in Colorado, leaving me unable to compete for the remainder of the year. This difficult injury resulted in a five month stretch off the bike.

During this period, I signed with a new European-based team, Canyon-SRAM. On the 26th of June 2016, I marked the end of my 'comeback' by winning the Elite British Road Race Championships for the first time.

After 6 years with the Canyon-SRAM, I will continue my journey with the newly established Norwegian world tour team, Uno-X Pro cycling team.
